Where I live, the majority of serious crimes go unsolved and those which do find resolution are usually because one of the perpetrators (or a family member/ close friend) turn in the others. Rarely do the police solve a case on their own.

For background, the man is accused of shooting his wife and her lover in his home. He called the police claiming he only found their bodies but did not shoot them. In that context, the police officer drawing his weapon does not seem so unreasonable. If the husband is telling the truth, there could be an armed individual still in the home. If he lied and shot them, then they already secured him. I do not remember if the prosecutor had a redirect that pointed this out.

That’s such a disgusting thing that police officers say we’re going to handcuff you for your safety and hours. It means they’re already planning on taking you to jail and it has nothing to do with your safety only theirs your safety they mean if you were to draw down on them, they’ll put you in a box for their safety. It means there chubby out of shape uniform won’t shave them because they won’t have to chase you. If you’re doing nothing wrong tell them you do not agree to being handcuffed and then do not resist and then light them up in court, unless you’ve done something wrong in which case put your hands behind your back and deal with it that’s kind of how it goes
