I bought the Ruger .556 when it first came out and there was a dealer from Ruger at the store answering questions, showing the features. It runs flawlessly! Paid $400 for it. The single best purchase I ever made!

those castle nut stakes are proof they can pack some decent parts together but it’ll still be PSA quality QC hopefully they at least started dimpling their barrels for these.

I’d go the build route.. Get a chrome lined upper and psa lower kit… upgrade everything on your own time… essentially same rifle with a better barrel minus the adjustable gas block (but hey, are you really shooting suppressed)… I’d go with the psa magpul moe (moe+ if optional) with ept lower kit… At least you can start with something basic n built it into something great… hand guards, triggers and stocks can be replaced (If you prefer 🤷‍♂️)…

I think the Sabre is a good line. But if you pay attention on second hand market you can pick up used URGI’s for 1250 and lower. Which is quite a big upgrade from this. If you’re already in the ballpark of 1k, buy once cry once.

900 is a lot, mine cost only 600 with necessary accessories, and it works perfectly fine. Indeed I am considering a second one with a different optic setup.

PSA has REALLY stepped up their game, their guns are definitely nothing to sneeze at anymore, the Sabre lineup and their AKs are amazing for the price point

My favorite budget rifle is getting a palmetto lower and a Bear Creek upper and I spent like 400 bucks

Dang for $900-1200 you can build a decent ar. I dont know what's so special about different brands coming out with new ar15s. It's an ar15, almost every gun owner has one. Which is a good thing. But just build one with a known reliable bcg barrel and trigger thats better than milspec. H1 buffer and geissele buffer spring.

The m4 is one of the most amazing and famous gun to ever own because of all the options to have to upgrade it 😊 I have a similar built but I have a reflex side scope, mag holder buttstock and bipod grip with light and laser sight

If you get a psa upper just replace the bcg and maybe the barrel and everything is all good.

Love what PSA does budget-wise but imo, the Ruger 556 (specifically the MPR) is a better budget rifle.

I ordered a PSA lower but I gotta be 21 to pick it up because " I could turn it into a pistol" man I just want to build my M16 clone. So in the meantime I've ordered an PSAK which should come in next week. 😁
