Cooked carrots as a purree help against bloating and diarreah and ibs-d. There is something in roots, also like tumeric, ginger and so on, that destroys gas producing bacteria in the gut.

Hmm... what about celery?! I do some juicing, and celery juice seems to help any gut issues I may sometimes have.
