A Simple & Effective Leaky Gut Repair Protocol

Показать описание
In this episode, scientific proof comes to light about what works for a leaky gut repair. Leaky gut is when the tight junctions between the cells that line your small intestine loosen. This allows bacterial fragments and undigested food particles to enter your bloodstream, potentially causing an unwanted immune response.

When the immune response is heightened, there’s a greater chance for chronic inflammation to occur, causing symptoms like diarrhea, brain fog, joint pain, and fatigue.

This is where probiotics can come into play to help calm down the immune response and heal leaky gut. Listen to the episode to hear what kind of probiotics to use and how often to take them to improve your gut health.

Leaky gut is real and a total misery. Almost 40 and realised how much it has robbed me of life from the chronic fatigue to brain fog and night time itching but doctors always say it's not worth investigating. Only made the possible connection to my gut over the last few years and now I've decided to eliminate processed foods and unnecessary sugar from my diet and adding probiotics daily. Hope it gets better in a few months!

In the last 5 years I tried to introduce probiotics numerous times, always felt bad on it and stopped soon after. Recently I learned that they were all using inulin as a prebiotic and that I generally don't do well with inulin (onions ruin my sleep for example). I have tried a brand that uses acacia fiber as prebiotic and to my surprise all of the probiotic benefits that I read about are finally there for me as well. All to say, if you dont see desired results, it might not be the bacteria strains failing you.

When it comes to leaky gut & its location, this is the very best explanation I've found on YouTube and the entire internet. Thanks a TON, Dr. Ruscio !!!

I had extreme MCAS & leaky gut. I was reacting to everything. My throat would close eating almost anything & my eyes & joints would hurt. The book “Plant Paradox” saved my life (I changed my diet). I am not totally healed but on my way!!!!

They say madness is doing the same things over and over and expecting different results. Well, having tried all kinds of anti microbials, the low fodmap diet, DIY semi-elemental formulas, antibiotics, various prokinetics - you name it - with only fleeting sucess - I realised maybe I have leaky gut rather than Sibo/Sifo (I had tested positive for SIBO in the past, but not always, yet the bloating and inflammation continued even on a negative result). This has been going on since experiencing food poisoning 4 years ago :(( Initially I had been put off trying probiotics (by one leading expert's warnings about them), but I realised I needed a new approach. L Glutamine definitely helped, digestive emzymes and betaine+pepsin in my case too, but the biggest surprise has been the probiotics. I'm so glad people like you are here Dr Ruscio, thank you. I am hoping I won't need to continue Resolor/Prucalopride (way too expensive here in Spain but Iberogast is in short supply and only in 20ml bottles), so I will experiment with herbal alternatives. Good luck to everyone out there - perserverence pays off!

You are totally on point Michael, a lot of people waste a lot of time and money on useless testing when the solution is kind of similar, reduce inflammation, restore microbiome, improve nutrient deficiency and gut motility,

Mine turned out to be a gluten allergy. I had diarrhea a lot. After i quit gluten my leaky gut healed, and my diarrhea went away, and also had a lot of dandruff. That also went away. I was dealing with dandruff all my life and it's gone for good. 😀😀😀😀

Thank you. I quit alcohol soon as I watched this. Makes sense it would wash away the mucus layer I spent good money building by eating super healthily.

I used to think leaky gut was silly. I was one of those that didn’t have any gut symptoms which made me even more of a skeptic, but was very unwell. Thankfully I came around and have had a lot of healing.

WOW. Absolutely amazing information. Thank you! (My sad story started 7/22.) After C Diff infection, taking probiotics was very scary~ the gut is SO sensitive to everything. Left with SIBO/leaky gut☹️ I stopped using everything for a couple months....used low Fodmap diet....after several months, slloowwly introduced probiotics with IgG.... slowly added prokinetics. It's almost the 3 months mark for me with this treatment.{SIBO protocol}. I ate a little salad a couple days ago, a little salsa yesterday😊 Nothing! 😁. Things are damn near back to normal in the bathroom!.... Don't give up! Try different things for 3 months.

Thank you for your very interesting and helpful presentation.
I am in England a 68 year old male and here very few GP doctors have even heard about leaky gut or SIBO, etc, which I have been privately tested for and diagnosed with, let alone know how to treat it.
Functional medicine is way behind US levels and currently our beloved NHS government run medical service has waiting times of over a year for routine operations and 3 months for tests.
I will be introducing the type of Probiotics you described in the study into my own assessment and treatment protocol of low Fodmap no sugar and carb diet.
Thanks again Dr.Michael.
