Grandma can be whoever she wants at the casino. She’s earned it.

My favorites in here were: "Stop all that racket! You're making my knee hurt." or "Let me put my glasses on so I can hear you."😂

"Yall stop that loud talking! Making my knee hurt."
"Let me put my glasses on so I can hear."
Somebody's been listening to my grandma's.

Grandma saying "Bless your heart" is the Southern equivalent of "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed".

Along with “let me put on my glasses so I can hear you”, is the good ole “let me turn down the car radio so I can see where I’m going” LOL!!!

My grandma believed that Pepsi could cure stomachaches. She was born in '46, but wasn't homophobic at all. When my cousin came out, his parents weren't happy, but she assured them they weren't too old to get their asses whooped if they didn't accept their son. She was an amazing woman and I miss her a lot. She died on August 19th, 2022, and she had 5 siblings, 7 children, 27 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She taught me, and only me, her famous cinnamon roll recipe and I made them for her funeral.

“This dry ass cornbread” line should have stayed in.

Dying at Mary Ann saying "That is not a vase. Where did you say that yard sale was?" as I was enjoying my own "vase" LOL It's even cute, with flower decorations on it :-)

My little Southern aunt used to preface every meal she ever cooked with “I hope it’s fit to eat.” 😂
