Is it possible? Girl, where have you been the last 40 Years? Many "German citizens" from Arabian countries or from Turkey have never left their "streets" oder city districts. Even after 30 years their German is pretty basic because there is no need for them to learn the language. They stay with their families, or clans, the marry mostly within their cultural circle.
