That is good to know. We used baking soda when I was a kid because we was so poor we had to use it for baking as well as dental cleaning.

What if you have stained teeth due to past bad oral care. I had braces a long time ago & I guess I didn't take very good care of them.

The baking soda worked very well to remove my tea stains! I used to only have them removed when I went to the dentist every few months. Thanks again!

Also, if you have a tooth removed just take a tea bag, any kind of tea bag will do, wet it in hot water and place it into the cavity where the tooth was extracted. It will stop the bleeding & extract any poison if you had an poison in the tooth that was extracted and help the healing process. You need to remove the tea bag and put in a freshly wet one about three to four times per day. I had a tooth extracted which had a dry socket...Ouch! The dentist told me to pack it with a heated wet tea bag and take a tyenol for pain. She expected to see me back for pain but it worked!

I used baking soda for a several months (once a week) and didn't see much difference in the stains. but then I got the idea of using copper coins because copper is one step higher in the hardness scale than your nails. and it really worked! after about 30 minutes all the large and thick stains were gone. my only concern was the hardness of enamel, but I figured enamel is harder than copper so the copper won't damage the enamel

just take a copper coin. you can check the composition online. use coins with >95% copper to be on the safe side. make sure the coin is clean. then rub it on the teeth stains. don't use much force as the metal will do the job. as you do this you'll see parts of the the stains come off and stay on your teeth, mouth or the coin. clean those with tooth brush or dental floss, wash the coin and continue. NOTE: if your glums bleed when you brush your teeth, then you'll experience alot of bleeding

Please don't use peroxides, it oxidize yourself, if used in a long term. Add MSM(methylsulfonylmethan) to the baking soda. It dissolves your teeth tartar and fix the balance of your blood, though it may take some long time, depending on your health status. Once fixed the status of your health, no more teeth tartar would be build up under the maintenance with a little MSM. Teeth tartar means you eat too much phosphorus(phosphates). You may need more calcium/magnesium or reduce phosphorus.

copper coins are coins mostly made of copper(95%<). just google the coin you're using to find their composition.
also don't use it on other things than stains

I have a lot of teeth staining, decay, yellowing and gum recession. My old dentist used blasting baking soda on my teeth to get the stain off, I would like to know how to do this baking soda blasting cleaning for myself at home. My dentist said that baking soda was not abrasive or harmful at all, I hope it is not because I brush with it every day.
