Показать описание
This video was recorded at the 2024 Open Sustainability Policy Summit in Washington, DC. It was presented by Doug Arent, Executive Director, Strategic Public-Private Partnerships, National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
Abstract: Energy, economic, and climate modeling communities have developed a plethora of energy models and data sets. Operating a different geospatial and temporal scales, and answering a wide variety of questions has spawned the proliferation of numerous models and model families. There is a unique opportunity to align these into a community platform, leveraging open source data sets and models through public private partnerships, and an architecture in which each modeling group can advance their own capabilities, while contributing to a community effort.
