I'm so glad that I've been to help so much of you, and for those who it didn't work for unfortunately, your disc may just be damaged or too dirty as the problem may not be with the PS system.. Or could be if the game works on another PS4. You could probably go somewhere to get the disc deep cleaned, or just purchase the game again. The prices shouldn't be as much, you could get sealed original copies online for far less.

But I advise you repurchase the game again, so in case of any issue again, you could get it refunded and know that issue is the PS system

The best solution that worked out for me thanks a lot man kudos to you
follow these steps
1. turn off the ps4 first
2. remove the disc completely
3. hold the PS button for 8 to 10 seconds until a second beep sound
4. Enter Safe mode
5. select rebuild database (wait for 2 to 3 mins until your data rebuilds completely)
6. clean your Data and play discs with a wet wipe
7. switch on your console
8. insert the disc again
The download will resume from where it left off
This is the only method which worked for me

FOR ANYONE IN THE FUTURE WHO HAS THIS PROBLEM, I FIXED IT.

when your play disc hit 99+ hours, don't panic. Just do the following accordingly:

- Eject the disc (just press the eject button)

- get a microfiber cloth (typically found in eyeglass cases) and put a little water on part of it.

- Squeeze the bulk of the water out.

- clean the mirror side of the disc with the microfiber cloth in a circular motion.
- Dry the disc with the dry part of the microfiber cloth.
- air dry the disc if necessary
- insert the disc again.

What was showing 99+ hours will suddenly start reading again and continue installing.

Rebuilding database, putting the console in rest mode, or restarting the ps4 doesn't work. I've tried everything myself. The issue is not with the playstation, but with the disc.

Clean with a *wet* microfiber cloth and dry it off immediately. Insert and it will work. This worked once for me.

If in the unlikely eventuality it goes back to 99+ hours after a lot of progress, please repeat the steps above.
