Philippians is a letter about joy. Writing from prison, Paul describes the joys of following Christ and persevering for the gospel, as well as the secret to being content in any situation. We know from the letter that the Philippians were facing a lot of hardship (and Paul wasn't exactly living the high life himself).

So why did Paul write this letter? And why did he write it to the Philippians?

In this video, Dr. Lynn H. Cohick explains.

Thanks for the great message on of my favourite books of the New Testament. I don’t understand why some preachers say, pastoring or preaching is specifically for men. I believe women also can do a better job and in some cases better than men. Great introduction. Thanks and God bless you.

this is a positive scriptural reading .. the boys are all of the SPIRIT ... a welcoming home ... NOW the people have leaned so much on the bible that it is being listened too DIFFERENTLY ... now the Philippine has made it over to the side... the SPRITE side of the bible .. instead of the word/or letter ... you see there are two parts of our bible ... the born with only father and to pick up a brother and to have the brother pick our Mother the holy ghost. now this is the holy package we are waiting for

Act 19:13 But certain➡️ roving Yehuḏi exorcists ⬅️took it upon themselves to call the Name of the Master יהושע over those who had wicked spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by יהושע ➡️whom Sha’ul proclaims.” ⬅️

Acts 17:23 For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: ➡️‘To the unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you.⬅️

Rev 2:24 But, unto you, I say, —the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as have not this teaching, such as have not come to know THE DEEP THINGS OF SATAN, 👉 as they say, I do not cast upon you any other BURDEN; 👈 25 nevertheless, what ye have, hold fast, till I shall have come. 26 And, he that overcomes, and keepeth throughout my works, I will, give unto him, authority over the nations; 27 and he shall shepherd them with a sceptre of iron, —as, vessels of earthenware, are dashed in pieces:—as, I also, have received from my Father. 28 And I will give unto him the morning star. 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what, the Spirit, is saying unto the assemblies.

Acts 15:28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us 👉 to put not one greater BURDEN on you than these necessary things👈

Jeremiah 8:22 Is there no balm in Gilead?➡️ Is there no physician there? Why then has the health of the daughter of my people not been restored?⬅️

Luke 4:23 And he said to them, “Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb, ‘“Physician, heal yourself.” What we have heard you did at Capernaum, do here in your hometown as well.’”
