My tip for learning amd practicing a language is to take w book that you read in your mother language and read it in the language that you are learning. Whatever you don't understand youcan always return to the book in your mother language. Try it helps. I did it with Spanish.
Another tip is watching a channel fron the country of the language that you learn. I watch a lot of the Spanish international channel that had fantadtic programs and news from all over the world. I can see that my Spanish skills improved.

My problem is that I lose my motivation and I can't focus. I also study last moment, for example I have a big test friday, and I didn't really start learning, and I want this to change, so any ideas or tips?
I really want to learn how to stay focused and how to study well and things like that.

Watching a foreign movie with subtitles actually works. I learned a new language by doing that for years. Now I don't even need the English subtitles. 🙌🏼

I have been studying English for a few years, and I can tell you all that being able to learn a language is a gift. If you have the chance to choose whether to learn it or not, even a few words can help you a lot.
Don't you ever feel frustrated when something goes wrong. In order to do it alone you need to believe in yourselves.

Jess you inspired me to improve me English, and the other to languages I speak.
I am not ashamed of who I am.
And yeah, Im Jewish and I speak Russian, Hebrew and English on daily bases.
Knowledge means power, and I truly hope that one day my English would be as good as yours.

I'm currently fluent in English and am from Morocco (native tongue: Moroccan-Arabic) and Spain (native tongue: Spanish.)
Already on the weekends I take Arabic lessons to help brush up on my Arabic. I learn French at school and I'm doing very well at it. And, I am aiming to add Korean as a language I am learning at home. Eventually, I want to add Spanish into the mix since I can gain help via my father and my older brother who are both fluent in Spanish.
Wish me luck x

I had a Czech penpal in 4nd grade through 7th grade, and we both started of with the very basics in each other's language, but over time, we were able to learn each other's language from one another.

I definitely recommend Memrise. I used Duolingo first to learn Spanish but didn't really like it too much because it taught words that weren't great for first time learners. Memrise teaches you the basic and phrases that you'll actually use. Probably would be different with different languages but highly recommend it for Spanish at least

Who else's wants to learn Korean in school? I'm trying to learn Korean by myself at home, I got a Koran book which I learn from. I want to learn Korean because I want to understand what the lyrics in KPop songs mean, if you look them up most of them actually have meaningful lyrics. I also want to learn it because when I'm watching KDrama I read the English Subtitles, when I do I feel like I'm missing something important going on during the drama because I focussed more on reading the subs. Another point about the subs, sometimes the subtitles mean more than what is actually written on the screen. However, I watched your video and it gave me a boost on learning Korean, thanks a lot! Btw, any KPoppers out there?
