Is Uber's New Policy Fair Or Unfair? | Beyond the Headline

The cab aggregator has decided to introduce a new policy where the drivers of the cab will now be able to access the destination the passengers are going to, before accepting a booking. Previously, it would not be possible before they accept the ride and the passenger has boarded the cab. That was done to give no prerogative to the drivers and give the rider the upper hand. But now they have that power to decide. As per the company,'s statement, this is done to reduce cancellations by the drivers at the last minute. Is it really fair?
