My pod only gets 40 from 500 mbps in next room . Can you plug and Ethernet cable into a pod from router to increase pod broadcast !

Which Mesh system to do you recommend? I have a Hub3 with Virgin and would like to avoid signing for their Pods for an extra 8 pounds for month! I'd rather buy my own Mesh

I got this from Virgin Media but on sent me one pod. The one with one insert, can one work by itself by just plugging in and receiving a signal? Thanks.

Great Vid, Is it possible to configure one or more pods as a guest network?

I use my own router and have the virgin hub set to modem modem. Can I use these ?

This is a really poor solution. The Virgin media hubs are rubbish, put it in to modem mode and buy a proper wifi 6 mesh router

I'm having issues syncing my pods. Brought them second hand. They just flash when plugged in, they don't seem to sync to my hub 3. Any ideas? I've done the troubleshooting with no joy

do they pods work together allowing you to have them further away from the main hub

I just got the Hub 5 with one pod for now. I'm a bit out of touch with the whole wifi thing. My PC has a wifi card which is wifi 5 and the new Virgin Hub is wifi 6 meaning faster transfer speed. I wondered by my phone (wifi 6e) was faster than my PC! So much new tech out there. I've got one pod as I'm on the fastest broadband speed for my son's bedroom for their gaming and hooked up the pod with an ethernet cable directly to his PC. I was only getting about 150mbps compared to his wifi directly to the main router at about 300mbps. I'm assuming those pods are slower speeds and only good for range extension rather than speed. Wonder if they are on 2.4ghz rather than 5ghz. Further to that, initially my PC was only hitting about 150mbps on the wifi and noticed it would only connect to the Hub 5 at 2.4ghz and not 5ghz. Took me a whole to find the reason and it was the Hub 5 Channel. For some reason on Smart WiFi for 5Ghz, it defaulted on Channel 120 so my WiFi card didn't recognise it, I turned off the smart wifi and set channel to 36 and my PC wifi card now picked up the 5Ghz getting me 520Mbps! Worth knowing if you experience the same issue! I now need to hard wire my PC but too much of a mess with cables or upgrade my wifi PCI card to the latest wifi6e!

Can these be used with any virgin media router? Or are they specifically configured to work with your vm router?

I’m sorry powerline just needs to be on the same phase not the same ring final that is wrong.

Thanks GrumpyMan, I have two pods and they have improved in house coverage however I still don’t get the speed I’m paying for (1Gb) and I get drop outs, I have Hub 4! Can I just request a swap for a Hub 5?
