Bill Maher's CRINGEY Message For Struggling Americans

"During Friday’s Real Time, host Bill Maher blamed President Joe Biden’s low approval ratings on Americans being too concerned with their mental health, claiming people need to “Cheer the fuck up!”

Maher encouraged his viewers to stop “acting like life in America in 2024 is unbearable” adding that Biden’s ratings are so low “not because he’s doing such a bad job,” but because Americans enjoy living “with their head in the toilet."

Exactly! I remember as kid in the 80's when Reagan was president and them saying unemployment is low and there's jobs out there! And my dad saying yes there's more jobs out there but they're low paying jobs like McDonald's and retail! I'll never forget my father pointing that out to me! And here we are in 2024 and nothing has changed! If my father was still alive he would be disgusted with where America is now! Love Anna but her rant against narrowing roadways to make them more accessible for bicyclists and pedestrians is wrong. If she was right then widening roads, adding more freeways would’ve already worked in LA and elsewhere. Study after study has shown that doing this does not relief congestion. Pedestrian fatalities are at an all time high because drivers are racing everywhere and running into pedestrians in their big heavy SUVs. Narrowing the roadways slows cars down and makes it safer for everyone.

I HATE it when people complain about “over-medication” and “over-reliance on drugs to make us happy”. It just smacks of someone who has never had clinical depression. It just pisses me off so much, the opposite of depressed isn’t “happy” it’s “functioning human”. Urgh so small minded.
