This isn't guaranteed to work. But it the most affective way. Here's way:
1. If you look away, they think you do not see them and they try to get closer.
2. Humans are strange to animals. By looking bigger, moving around, and screaming they not sure if you're a threat or too much trouble to eat. It's the same as when we see a strange animal and try avoid it because we do not know what it can do or if it's poisonous.

The few times it doesn't work:
1. The lion is starving and you're the only thing around.
2. They've ate human before so they know you're not a threat to them.
3. You've enter their hunting grounds, territory, or too close to their den.

My great grandfather went to Africa and wrestled a male lion that attacked him he used to lift weights he killed that thing by strangling and dissected his head and and recently my grandfather gave it to me i miss you great grandpappy george 🥲😥
