Dear Santa please let me find either in my driveway on Christmas morning.

Everything you stated sounds correct. Big one for me is build quality and reliability. That’s a point lost for Polaris. I have several friends with rzrs and they ALL have to do way more maintenance and repairs than I would call acceptable. They just seem to wear out prematurely.

i have a 2017 yxz 1000 r ss. put that thing through hell and back and has impressed me every time. the only downfall is getting stuck without a winch and not really having a place to mount one

Drove both at the dunes...I'd pick the YXZ.

I work at a polaris dealer and would not buy one. We get 2 to 3 of them in a week for major repair. In fact we have 5 if them in the back of the shop with everything from snapoed shocks, blown engines and transmissions. And recalls out the ass

People will call anything that's not theirs junk. I like both, I have the rzr. It's a simply more capable machine compared to the yxz. It has more clearance, more travel, better in whoops and jumps, and it's not NEARLY as top heavy.

I have a 2014 xp1000 and a buddy of mine has a 2019 yxz. I'd like to know what is so different than what we've experienced with our two as far as pure acceleration goes. We've raced desert, sand, asphalt, dirt tires, sand tires, passengers, no passengers, and my xp1000 always beats his in a drag race, and it's not his shifting or launching, he's a very experienced driver. Also both machines are 100% stock horsepower wise

This review is fine if all you do is play in the sandbox. Nothing competes with the RZR in the rocks and mud of the East Coast. Even the X3 is too wide, too long, too low, and the front end sucks. The reason you hear so much bad about Polaris is because they out-sell every other brand 2-to-1 or more.

Have good buddy that is Polaris dealer back East. I asked him since I live in Baja Mexico. What is more reliable he told me buy at the time 19 Yxz. How many times have I towed back my buddy's polaris and his buddy's

Not sure how many actually do mudboggs, but Yamaha fails that test every time. If you have a RZR and your friend has the YZ, you will spend a lot of time pulling him out of high-center situations.

The Yamaha looks so narrow when viewed from the rear. Not like my wife

Polaris still can't get it wright how many years making RZR they start on fire blow belts and a ton of problems and still that round speedo from 1990 and that 4 wheel drive setup Not good on the river on ice in the winter it goes in and out of 4 wheel drive and bad on corners with full time for wheel drive. They should go out like there motorcycles.
