Rimowa created that bag for a good reason. SECURITY! I had zipper luggage before and my luggage was ripped off and things stolen at Heathrow airport. Since then I never bother looking at zippers. So do you prefer safety or filling crap in your luggage? I choose safety. If cant travel light.. buy extra weight allowance. Cant afford few bucks more? Go backpacking instead.

Can’t agree with you more. For practicality, Essential over Original To show off “look at me, I’m rich enough to afford a Rimowa, ” then go with Original or Classic.

how long have you had the trunk for, not sure to get the plastic cabin or aluminium and how many times have you used the plastic for? i am scared that the PC shell will crack...

I hate zipper so I got the Rimowa trunk in aluminum though. Plastic looks cheap. I don’t like looking cheap.

Why is it so scratched? For that price this shouldn’t happen :/ My 10€ Primark luggage that I bought in 2015 doesn’t even have one scratch

Who is she? Why is she doing this? Sorry, I am not up to fate on fashionistas. Why would a super-wealthy individual be flogging suitcases? Ah, maybe she is an influencer who makes money by peddling luxury goods and therefore is working for wages, just like the rest of us.

And about this German luggage brand, which was quite utilitarian until French luxury giant LVMH bought them in 2016. Though the look is cool, there have been complaints that the final product is not up to the quality standards described in their marketing. And thats what this video is: marketing. And to me at least it is not persuasive.
