hey, just to make stuff clear, using the NNID on the target console is safe. Using the NNID on the source console will result in an error, and you can remove the NNID from the source console by going to GodMode9 -> HOME button -> Scripts... -> GM9Megascript -> Scripts from Plailects guide -> Remove NNID, and then create a new one. Why is that? Because the 3DS has an NNID linking system that ensures that an NNID is only used on one console at a time. Theres a script called cleaninty that can transfer the NNID link manually to the source console if you wish to keep it on the source console after the system transfer. Have a nice day

scared the shit out of me when none of my stuff was there on the target console. faketik did not work, but the files for everything are still there. think i'm just going to have to deal with it as annoying as it is. restoring the source console to backup with checkpoint because i thought it would transfer all my save files with the normal system settings backup.

ig this guide did work, just not the whole way. it is also a little hard to follow because you cut so much. the thing about the written guides is that they are so careful and tell you everything you need to know, even if it's not relevant to you. i have definitely learned my lesson about video guides tho

i am wondering if this didn't work properly because he is on a different version of cfw but some people said it worked for them recently so idk

Today, 2024-02-19 Its worked again.

From May 2024, support for the 3DS will also be completely discontinued.
From then on the transfer will no longer work.
I own 4x the N3DS-XL.
So I can constantly change the card to take the save states with me.
It's priceless.

Is the process the same between a japanese to american 3ds? I changed the region on the japanese one so i dont want to transfer the region swap files

Still works in August 2024. At first the homebrew launcher and faketik did not show up. I had to replace the Nintendo 3DS folder on the target console again by the one of the source console and even though it was replaced already before (as shown in the video), it now worked.

Dang I have a serious issue now 😭. I transfered and cloned everything succesfully. But I totally forgot that I shouldn't have transferred Pretendo. Now it's too late. What now? On my original 3DS the app is gone, on the new 3DS I get an error: Enable external FIRMs and modules: false, enable game patching: false. Can someone help?

Notice how he cuts and then suddenly has the homebrew launcher available on his screen with no explaination as to how he got it to appear and be accessible. This guide nearly bricked 2 of my consoles. ALWAYS MAKE PLENTY OF BACKUPS

Does this work when my Source is a 3DS XL Europe and my Target is a Japanese 3DS XL?

If yess, is the language/region on the 3DS still Japanese or is it changed to Europe?
