How to Turn on Developer Mode on Meta Quest 3 (2024) - Full Guide

You need three devices just to enter developer mode. Gotta love how Meta does things.

I successfully performed this on Nov30, 2023.
I'd already set up the Meta app account when first firing up the new headset. But in the Meta mobile app click on Menu - Devices - Settings - Enable the developer mode. When it then says you must enable DEBUG MODE, the button for that is to the rt and hard to see. Find and hit it. You will now find that you have a DEVELOPER button via headset (may need to restart set first) Then take it frm there.... ;-)

I think they made it way too easy. It would have been better if the user had to search for a monk in the mountains of Tibet beforehand, who would then give you a code with which you would then have go (by foot, no vehicles allowed) to an unknown native tribe in the Amazon rainforest for them to unlock the function for you. just a small suggestion for improvement

My dev account verification is asking for:
- Certification of incorporation,
- Business license
- Business utility bill
- Business bank statement

Won't work at all. Verified my account and created an organization, but still says I need to create and verify an account

It's because you have to put two access verifiers, I also thought the same thing, but putting the second one already activated it.

I have done this and i feel like my tracking has become less responsive like when i put my controller close to my chest it glitches out. Not sure if this is because of dev mode
