One thing worth mentioning, is that the comic and the show follow different political bias: The comic it's more right wing, somewhat from the conservative spectrum and the show well... it's clearly lefty and progressive as hell.

The show just feels like a blatant upgrade over the comics. Like as someone whose read and watched both whenever I'm asked by someone who watched the show if the comics are any good, I just tell them that if you're already watching the show then you have the best version of the Boys already, and there's not much of a point in going to the comics.
