The irony is while not a great dude homelander was trying to curb his superiority complex and what not the images nor send him making him think he had gone insane and that he did it is ht broke him.

As noir said he never went to far. And that passed noir off

Its fun how in the start of homelanders carreer he was just a bad hero but not really a bad person but then black noir did some awful things with he suit and made him belive that he was the one who did it so he went crazy because of this

Why did they change Black Noir in the show? I kind of liked the idea that he was a silent clone of Homelander the whole time that was there to stop him if he ever got too "ambitious"

Homelander was much more sane in the comics. It was all noir because his programming was to kill homelander if he went rogue.

A side effect of the said programming was that it became like an itch for him that he needed to scratch so he did all this deranged crap to make sure homelander went overboard just so he could kill him to scratch that itch.

All the deaths that happened is because of a defective psycho conditioning procedure.

I think that in the series; instead of a clone of Homelander, Soldier boy will have control over him. So vought will have Soldier Boy back as basically the father of Homelander who will be basically the man in charge but the latter will be the picture of the team. That will increase in tensions between them two. Idk just assuming, but i can't imagine the series producers still going for a Homelander clone.

For the 5th season, I hope there will be a timeskip. Where Homelander's son (who has same powers as HL) becomes the new definitive Black Noir but potentially more unstable than HL
