Hughie watches intently as Homelander brings Starlight into the meeting room where she is coerced into doing favors to not just Homelander, but A-Train and Black Noir as well
As his eyes widen in horror, Butcher stands outside, convinced he is doing this for Hughie’s own good

All the people not realizing that Butcher is also one of the villains in the comics is wild to me. So many go to his defense saying “well bad things happened to him”
Bad things happen to everyone (in The Boys and real life) but being victim doesn’t make you immune to being a monster. Plenty of GOOD people have handle the same or worse circumstances but refused to let that be the things to change them. Doing bad stuff because you suffered isn’t Justice, you’re just spreading the pain. There’s already enough pain, the world needs more kind people.

Every short I've seen just shows me that Butcher and Homelander are part of the same coin. "B-but Butcher has a sad backstory!" And? So does Homelander. Both of their actions do not excuse their fucked up actions. Both have psychopathic tendencies

He was one of the original 7 that survived the sups White House siege by not getting himself involved in the planed siege And tried to rebuild his career as another public figure, he is not a saint but is probably the least bad member of the seven
