Loading and rewinding 35mm film in a point and shoot camera (Beginners Guide)

Показать описание
In this video, I show how to load and rewind the film in a 35mm point and shoot camera. This video is for people who might be just getting started in film photography, or beginners who are looking for how to load and rewind point and shoot cameras specifically.

Many point and shoot cameras are automatic load and rewind which makes them very user-friendly to someone starting out.

I hope this is helpful! :)

Hi there. I'm Chris. Film is more fun is a place where I share about whatever busted up old camera I'm currently shooting and tinkering with, or my meanderings in film photography. It would be pretty rad if you said what's up. I'm 99% friendly. Definitely do that. Disclaimer: If you want technical proficiency go watch 'The Art of Photography' (love that show). These videos are more like an elderly person navigating a tv clicker.

I love reading comments from people just getting into film photography! You guys are gonna love it. I started my photo hobby in the 80s with a film SLR. I still process my own film, but prefer to make digital prints from the negatives. It’s the best of both worlds, imho.

Thank you so much! I am loading a really old camera (1996) for the first time and your video was THE OLNY ONE that actually explained it and was beginner friendly.

This is much appreciated!! I just got my Ricoh FF-3 AF Super today and was worried when I couldn't figure out how to get the film in on my own, as others have said your instruction and explanations were so easy to follow and so helpful! Much appreciated

Great video! As one time I loaded the film wrong and all my photos came back over exposed or blank! I grew up pre-digital, so I still love "old school" taking pictures method. And paper type photos are still a great way to show off pictures!

Hi! Gonna share my story too, about a year ago i got a olympus mju I from my grandma, it belonged to my grandpa, but he had passed away a long time ago. About a week ago i went to store, got it checked, bought a new battery and one b&w film and one colour film and they said it was in perfect condition. I already shot 17 b&w films and can’t wait for the results! thanks for this video!

would it be possible to rewind partially used film and reload it into another camera??? i recently got a new film camera and wanted to transfer my old film into the new camera because i only used about 10/36. they both automatically advance film so i’m not sure if it’d work out.

hey! I just bought a ansco vision 35 mm fully automatic, second hand, and I can not figure out how to load the film. every time I put it in and load just like your vid, it starts whirling and won't shoot, as well as a solid red light in the view finder. I open the back to see what happened and the film has reloaded. im so so confused. PLEASE HELP

I’m soo devastated, I didn’t rewind my film because I never knew that was apart of the process but for the future so I know, do you rewind after you’re done take the 36 photos or do you rewind it directly after you put the 35 mm roll of film in? Thank you!
