I wholeheartedly understand the part that you said "and I did it, for me." . I feel you man. I had a 7 year relationship that I had all these beautiful thoughts for, ended by the other person just because she found someone else. Sometimes I think about all those things she said to me, all the love, all the feelings, were they all a lie?. and then I realize all the things I did and all the hardships I went through just to be with her. every part of my life could be summarized into all of it being for her. That's why I feel the "I did it for me" part completely... meaning I hope I get the strength to do all the stuff again just for me..
