Not absolute amazing, but I don't think it is bad. Specially cause lore and abilities/role matters a lot. So for me it doesn't mean she have a bad design 🤔

Zhezhi is very well design in my opinion. She is shy painter girl and that's why we don't see any striking powerfull colors like Changli deep fierce red and blue, we got pstelle/watercolour palette. Hair tide up because you dant want any of your hair touching the painting or distract you from work. Nice calygraphy on the dress. Great looking long coat without sleeves, you don't want sleeves when paintting to not get them in paint, but gloves to still keep herself warm when painting outside. Sadly we don't see pattern on coat but something is there for sure. Very intresting eyes (shape and color), glasses to make her little more nerdy and very cute earings. Double colour hair is always nice. That's my opinion of the girl design. She looks like little clumsy cute in fun way.

For me, I like both design.

For Zhezhi, her design really speaks the volumes. It showed her shyness and innocent like. Her hair is also to my liking. It have a bright yet gentle colour palette.

For Xiangli Yao, I’m biased for him so I don’t know what to really told you. He looks like a general with a mechanical arm that had survive a war but still have a good heart.

This is just my opinion! Every person have their own taste! I’m a simple guy that like all character’s design in Wuthering Waves, HSR, Genshin, ZZZ, etc….

She is supposed to be a painter. I think her animations will be godly. They can do so much with a painting based kit.

Still your like dislike ratio speaks volume. She is definitely not jinshi changli tier, but her design is phenomenal to me.

I love like 90 or 95% of Zhezhi's design lol. Watched some videos that speculated that she's probably a support and with her design I love how soft and spring-like and cute she is.
I think Xiangli Yao is just ok but his gameplay may hook me. I think his arm is really cool.

zheshi designs reflect on her life as she is an artist. as an artist myself, i think the design is great. the colors may not be there but she looks like someone whos trying to get out of her comfort zone to try new things. she looks like an academic person with many of her design parts being gradients of soft color which again reflects on her personality. while she may not have the best design or design befitting that of other 5 stars, she still looks really good as a character.

Opinions are subjective. Not because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not good. Stating it as if it's a fact, when some people prefer these kind of designs and it's valid.

I think we need to wait for her animations. It might be that they will cover any minuses you could find regarding the visuals

I love the design especially with the ever slight VERY SLIGHT concern that we were heading in a direction of everything being compared very directly with the previous patch. The fact that they can take this different approach feels better for me, my personal tastes are Changli and Yinlin ofc but what I was concerned about was most chars looking somewhat the same, this isnt HSR where the excuse of jumping planets allowed for such vastly different character designs so I was curious how they were gonna pull it off. Not my cup of tea but neither was Robin in HSR and she grew on me so imma just let em cook for now personally

I do not agree, it is not the most amazing design, but I like her. I love her color palette :D and I like her hair, but her eyes are looking a bit "expressionless"? I don't know how to describe it ^^ maybe because the pupils are so light, I don't like that so much (but I find the colors in general nice)
