Whatever similarities they have from their designs and animations come from the fact they share a prominent cultural inspiration: chinese lion dancing. Yes even the jumping, it's not just smth added to their respective characters to make them look cool, lion dancers do things like hop and jump

Gaming (Genshin Impact), Ling Yan (Wuthering Waves) and Guinaifen (HSR) are characters who are literally based on Chinese New Year 😭 if I had a nickel for every time a character is based on CNY, I’d have 3 nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened thrice

If people were wondering why its all Shota or young teenage boys who do these lion dances, well it's true as well in real life that most performers are mostly young teens or highschool as they can risk performing lion dance moves better as they can recover faster in comparison to a fully grown adult. It is an extremely dangerous kinda sport so yeah it's best to be left for the younger ones.

interesting fact: white lion is also an traditional design in Chinese lion dance, which usually represents a historical character called Ma Chao, and it's also known as funeral lion, so from cultural perspective, it might be not an appropriate design if this game character wasn't in mourning for someone or had some sad back story.

second thought after rewatch: the lion costume in the demo possiblly is not a traditional white lion, it also combines design of red lion(e.g. the eyes), black lion(e.g. the head) and yellow lion(e.g. the texture on its back), I suppose the team was willing to deliver the whole cultural concept of lion dance in one costume design. however, since the base color scheme was quite white that would cause some misunderstanding, I believe it would be better if they could adjust the design a bit in latter version.
