Today I am setting up bloodglucose watches. To see if they are any good. I say not really. But the more exspensive they are more better. Now you half to have your blood sugar tester with you at all times. to see if it is close to the watch. But all the other icons works. Like blood pressure, temp, hart rate, ecg. Blood Glucose not much. But give them time. It probley will work better in the near future like Apple watches.

Sorry to say Blake but... I 've unfortunatly purchased exactly the same model you describe as the best and I am wearing it now . This smartwatch its a fraud. I am prediabetic, as probably as you are. I have both a CGM and this watch. This watch NEVER see my glucose going higher than 130 while the abbott record it at 180 sometimes after eating a nice plate of pasta or rice. That watch simply have an algorithm that mimic what you are supposed to have during the day. so it show an increase from 80 to 120/129 3 times a day. Well. I made a test. I skipped breakfast and Lunch and I had a lite dinner. Still it was showing the 3 small peaks during the day but that was impossibile and my medical cgm in fact report one peak post dinner. You can easily do the test by yourself. In regards to your video, I see that your watch reading matches the glucometer reading . And I can only say: even a broken watch is correct twice a day. Please be careful because those smatchwatch are a danger for people health is they really believe the reading and think the nothing is wrong, while instead it is. Not only for glucose but also for blood pressure. if you have high pressure, just make a test by yourself. Its easy and the watch is way off. I cant say about ecg. And I am still wearing it using it just as a step counter

Perhaps you could review lawn maintenance tools, like weed trimmers. With complex medical principles of blood glucose, I'm sorry, you're out of your depth! The fact is, this technology is still in its infancy and likely several years away! A little bit of "ignorance" is healthy. None of us is born knowing everything!

I think those watches should be compared to a CGM like a dexcom or freestyle libre. Maybe the watches "work" but the reading is just severely delayed compared to a CGM ? Considering that CGMs are already delayed by 5 to 15 minutes behind finger blood sugar, I think it may be worth comparing the 2.
I'd use both a cgm and one of these watches for a few days to continuously monitor blood glucose, and then I'd overlay the 2 resulting graphs on top of each others to see if they match when accounting for a possible delay on the graph of the watch.
I think that if it doesnt pass this test, then it's 100% fake and a scam !
Either way I'll probably be waiting for the apple or samsung watch that will do blood glucose readings as It should be medically approved.
I've also seen online a french company developing a watch specifically to monitor blood sugar called the "K'watch Glucose" and they say it's going to become available in 2024 as soon it receives medical approval (depending on country).

You didn't even test the blood glucose on the 2nd watch. Spent more time on the ecg than you did on the blood glucose. The first watch wasn't tested for accuracy with the meter. Couldn't tell what one was the best.

Didn't like his demonstration at all. Never gave the name of the watches or prices. The video was supposed to be checking blood glucose but this guy didn't do it😮
