The police watchdog has started an investigation into the level of force apparently used by the officer.

On this episode, Niall Paterson speaks to our north of England correspondent Shingi Mararike and to former officer and Sky News police commentator Graham Wettone about the latest challenge facing Greater Manchester Police.

All firearm police are trained not to take hands off the weapon and to use and doing his job when in the moment he believed there to still be a threat !

The Sky news comments section is full of people who would look up at a rainstorm until they drowned.

Wonder my comment keeps getting deleted.
Wonder why sky has comments turned off on the other videos and doesn’t explain what happened before leading up to this.

No armchair expert holding coffee mug in hand, should be telling a police officer/serviceman, how they should defend themselves when they come under attack. It's sickening, no one is talking about the poor policewoman who got grievously injured.

Now Labour is going to dismantle our policing services and replace it who knows what.

Those guys are stress tested on everything. They cannot carry a firearm unless. Mistakes happen, sure, but not this time. They used reasonable force in the circumstances imo . Airports are almost constantly on severe alert ( but not in writing )
