learned all this at age 13 when I found a dog's skuil in the empty fielld near our aecrage and brought it home and for many days I looked at it at all angles. The cartlages in the nose, and the post nasal cavity where air went into the dog's esophogus(when he had one). when I cracked the dog skull open with my ballpeen hammer, the checks and forehead I found something a 13 year old boy in 1984 would not expect. lots of voided pockets. That's the sinsus of a dog's skull, I assumed humans were the same! they did not teach it in school.-most of my 7th grade teachers were idiots anyway... I just picked up some dead dog's skull and figrued it all out in about a week! My mother didn't like the skull sitting on my dresser next to my 13" cathode-ray tube Panasonic TV, (which I still have to this day and it works!) But I had had enough time to figure out what was going on with the skull before she told me to trash it!

That was incredibly valuable information I'd never thought I'd ever get to experience.
