Tour of the Nasal Passage - 3D animation

This medical animation provides a description of the nasal cavity, which is a large, air-filled space above and behind the nose in the middle of the face. The nasal septum divides the cavity into two, that are called fossae. Each cavity is a continuation of one of the two nostrils. The nasal cavity is the uppermost part of the respiratory system and provides the nasal passage for inhaled air from the nostrils to the nasopharynx and rest of the respiratory tract.

Ok healthy 41M here- always thought I sounded nasal. A few days ago I thought I was catching cold- stinging sensation when swallowing. This morning I birthed a green alien. I "hocked" through my nose 1 good time and a 2 inch long globule of dark green mucus flopped into the sink. One solid piece. Instantly- sting gone and I can completely openly inhale nasally like never before!! My breathing is Instantly 80% better through my left nostril now and I can feel my inner nasal flap interact with my soft palate completely new and better!!! Holy shit how do I clear out my right one?? This is insane!!

Sometimes when i got cold and my nose are runny, its blocked my left side nostril, then I sleep on my right side, suddenly my blocked nostril opened. Then the other side take turn...

I always thought I had allergies or something, no matter what I tried my sinuses were always inflamed, I recently got a nebuliser and filled it with a 3/1 mix of saline and 3% hydrogen peroxide, I started holding my breath while letting the vaporized mixture flow through my nose, I sneezed like crazy for the first few days then started blowing out thick green mucus, and sometimes flesh colored chunks that are supposedly polyps. for about a month I was blowing out thick green mucus, especially in the mornings, it turned yellow for a few days then back to green. after about a month and a half I still have some mucus but not nearly as much and I can tell its going away. I could breath 10x better after 2 days of using my nebulizer, I had no idea how sick I was for so long.

I have had the same issue from past one year.. so I recently did a CT scan of my sinuses and gotto knw that my 2 sinuses are blocked. So rn I am taking medicine. If not doctor has told, we would have to go with fess surgery. So I would suggest you get a CT done and diagnose the issue. N thankfully, just by taking tabs. Now I am feeling a little better. I hope, it gets cured with tabs only and I don't have to undergo surgery

I've got something lodged in my nose that won't come out. I'm trying to figure out where it is. I feel it up high, just behind where the actual bone starts at the bridge of the nose.

When my sinus are clogged I get post nasal mucus that comes into my throat, I can literally pull it from my throat to my mouth. It is so thick it comes out like a rubber band! Gross😮
