This is a great way to calculate the different values without resorting to the phase angles. If the current was initially worked out using voltage of 120 at phaser of zero degrees, which I did before, that will have rotated the phaser diagram and caused confusion. The lesson is not to assume voltage souce is at zero degree reference. I fell for that many times without realising until after watching the phasor clip by Mr Gordon and went back on my previous calculations and all the "fogs" were lifted. Thank you Mr Gordon.

Any comment on the followings please: to calculate the reactive power on the capacitor, (Ic^2)(Xc)= 1728VAR, current and reactance are not in phase. Same result is found using (Ec)^2/(Xc), Ec and Xc are in phase! So where and how the adjustment was made? Thank you.

What if you have 2 L at 1mH and 1 C at 1mF In series.pulsed at 9ms with 1V behind the pulse With the ground in Between capacitor and the 2nd inductor.
