Menendez brothers' hearing delayed until January 2025

The resentencing of Erik and Lyle Menendez has been postponed by a judge in Los Angeles.

The December 11 hearing will now take place at the end of January next year.

The brothers are serving life sentences without parole for the murders of their parents in their Beverly Hills home more than 30 years ago.

The date was changed after the pair’s lawyers fought for a lesser charge of voluntary manslaughter.
