hi! a lot of people want to own reborns or do all these role plays with them and that’s completely fine! I have a reborn of my own and I love it! but alot of people are taking away real supplies and medicine from REAL babies. This can cause a lot of trouble so these are some alternatives you can use for reborns
Formula: use powder/ flower if you want or do the old marker trick to color water!
strollers/ carriers : take it from a friend that has a baby, or thrift it, get a doll stroller and carrier.

I used to own a reborn baby, and my parents encouraged it! I think it’s a great idea for kids to start learning how to take care of babies for when they might get a little sibling, or just prepare them for the future! Reborn babies are also a good entertainment method! I still have a reborn baby and play with it here and there.❤

some reborn tips !<3

To make your reborn look releastic while holding, I either use the chest method, rock-to-bed method, or just the normal carry.

For fake formula, I use water + flour. It always works for me, alothough if u have it in there for 30+ mins it starts to get chunky. So just a side note!

To make your reborn look more realistic in its carrier, make sure you make it look like what u would do if it was a real baby. So buckle in, put a pacifier or bottle, a toy, a blanket, and use the hang over.

For food, I mash up berries for baby food. For baby crackers, I use animal crackers or a fake food toy.

If u can’t bathe your baby, I use wet wipes for the body and for the hair I get a toothbrush and get it wet, then brush it. It works like a charm!

For girl baby hair styles, if she has long enough hair you can do pig tails or a little bun.

To keep ur baby busy or make it look like there doing something, I put a pacifier in, a bottle on the side, and a toy on there lap.

I have three reborn. Two toddlers, one newborn. And this makes me feel less embarrassed about role playing with them. I think that age regression is also a good coping skill for me to heal my inner child even though I’m only 14, but reborns help me experience kinda being a little kid too. Also the fact that I want a real kid. I’ve always loved kids, think about how I can be a good mother, but I don’t think I’d be a good mother for my kids, I want to adopt, and it would just be to much for me. Including that I need to work on myself before I can try to take care of a real kid.

I love how people are so confident going out with their Reborn's. When i go out with mine i always try to cover his carrier with a blanket so people cant see him lol. Cuz its so awkward 😂😅 I love them so much tho.
