When Cabbage Patch Kids first came out my grandmother bought me 1. Delena Adrienne was her name. I had car seat, diaper bag, bottles EVERYTHING.
My neighbor 2 doors down babysat her every school day for me. I dropped her off before school and picked her up after. She would bring her to the door when it was pickup time and give me a full update of her day.
I had a big imagination as a kid. RIP and thank you Mrs. Gussie for playing along with me it was so sweet of you I’m 47 now and that is a very special memory I have.

I am over 60 years old. I remember my mother dressing my doll in my younger sisters infant clothe. Just seeing my mother caring and concerned made all the difference in the world to me. This mom brought back sweet memories- thank you!
