Did you have to have an antenna setup because I thought the newer TVs didn't have to have that? Also what cable connector are you using cuz the only one we have is the old one from DirecTV will that one work?

When atsc 1.0 goes away this box don’t work anymore you need to upgrade to atsc 3.0

Actually these newly redesigned HD converter boxes are working better for scanning to getting free Air digital tv channels signals than the tv that designed with a digital tuner inside of the tv itself for scanning to getting free Air digital tv channels signals.Because the converter box have only one job to do are converting the free Air digital tv channels signals that it.The tv tuner board inside of the tv mother board are working ways to hard with many others functions of the tv too.So a basic digital tv antenna never going to be getting all the free Air digital tv channels signals you wanted.

You received 49 channels if you look at the number on top of the channel list.

You have Ultra HD and you left the display mode on 1080i ... I hope you changed that lol.
My older Vizio needs a new internal tuner or one of these external search is on.
