You have a rare talent of bringing out so many minute details of Tolkien’s writing - connecting names, interpretations, events, actions beyond any other channel I’ve come across. It’s almost as if you have cognitive access to the Tolkien Spirit. I can’t imagine how you know the author’s work so intimately! Thank you Dave. I have read everything Tolkien. Multiple, multiple times. But somehow I missed things. Little nuance here and there you are able to bring to the surface.
