Just bought this saw and rolling stand. Your video showed me how to change my blade, thank you. I'm 53 years young and recently got into wood working

Nice demo - appreciate that you got right into how to change the blade without a lot of unnecessary chit chat.

I bought the DWS779 and an 80 tooth blade and the plan was to change out the 32 tooth. There are a lot of videos on changing the blade BUT yours was the only one that mentioned loosening the screen towards the back of the silver that screw being loosened, I was not able to get the blade guard out of the way to remove the bolt for the blade -- so KUDOS to you.

Great demo video. I appreciate all the detail and close up of "button" on the opposite side. Also the comment about don't follow lefty loosey righty tighty was great. Glad I found your video.

Thank you so much. The directions are nothing like you explained. I just got my double compound slide Dewalt miter saw and now I'm ready to change the blade from 32 to 60. Thank you again. :-)

This is the first video from you that I watched. Very straight forward, no extraneous blabbing on and on, just the facts. I liked it so much you earned a like and a sub. Have a blessed day! added.... Mine was slightly different, it had a hex bolt for the blade securing lock instead of the star 40. However, the tool that was on the back of the fence had both the hex and the star 30, so it worked out. I guess a difference in manufacturing runs or something. I have had mine for about 4 years, I think.

Very good job in explaining this. I have this exact saw and have never changed the blade. Thank you so much.

Great tutorial! Thanks for taking into consideration those of us who have long since lost our DeWalt- provided torx tool! I had to buy the torx bits along with the new blade and thanks to you, got the job done and I'm off and running again.. good job!

Soon as he said “most of you probably already lost this tool.” I knew this was the right guy to follow. 🤭🤭🤭

This was a fantastic tutorial. I just bought my Dewalt miter saw and am making holders for my drills with 3 inch pvc pipe. I had to change out the blade that came with it to a 100 count Diablo blade for the pvc. It would have taken me 3 times as long and much frustration without your video. Thanks a bunch! I generally like to stick with a higher count blade anyway for the type of wood working I do such as making tool holders.

Thanks bud, definitely didn't feel like loosening a bunch of screws to figure out the right way to get to the blade on my second hand saw. Saved me the time and headache Now I can get back to pissing my neighbor off running my saw at 1AM!!!!

Thanks for making this. I’m not a dumbass who can’t read a manual, but the extra layer of safety provided by watching someone do the whole thing brings peace of mind!

Thank you. Fantastic instruction! If everyone were as detailed and skilled in demonstrating as you are, this would be a different world.
