How to adjust the blade on the Evolution Rage 3 sliding mitre saw

This video shoes how to check and adjust the blade on the Evolution Rage 3 sliding mitre saw to ensure that it is square to the table. Other sliding mitre saws will probably be adjustable in a similar way. I made this video as one of my subscribers needed to adjust the blade on his machine.

Thanks for the video, very clea. Do you know of any fix if the cutting head is not sliding parallel? The disc is square to the table but I am not getting straight cuts as the blade isn't moving directly back and forth for slide cuts.

Thanks

My rage 3 has play on the up/down hinge mechanism, not the sliders. I.e. when in the cutting position I can move it slightly left or right so as not to get a perfect 90 deg cut. I'll have to have a play to see if I can tighten it up. It's a newish machine with little use

I'd wish i seen this. Mines brand new and when i was using other day cutting some wood i noticed the wood was not flush. It tampered out by around a 1mm nice info.

Do you have any videos for this model when the arbor button isn’t locking the Blade in pace so you can unscrew it to remove it? Thanks

Excellent video. Can you do another one to show how to adjust the laser? Mine was fine when new, but I was cutting a lot of damp pine and the laser lens got debris on it. I was able to clean it pretty well, but recently I think I must have accidentally moved the whole laser. The factory video was not helpful at all, but I suspect if you guys did one it would be brilliant. Thanks in advance!

Very useful, must get myself a smaller set of engineers squares, mine is too mbg for my rage chop saw.
For those interested the adjustment is almost identical on the Rage 3B chop saw.

great video. After winter I found problem. I can't reach 45° bevel on my rage. The 90 ° is set exactly. What's can be a problem?

Hi the UFHM, can you recommend any engineering squares?

I just bought one of these and when cutting a 45 degree bevel the blade hits the cutting guide and the cut is crooked. Would this procedure fix the problem? Are there any other adjustments that need to be made? Thanks

for my device the blade is not square parallel to the slides. I need to put it on 2 degree miter to get a straight cut. is there any adjustment to correct that?
