I will do an in depth video for this process with a board that is not coated in silicon.

verified this did increase torque slightly on a slow NCM bike (got the lemon of the bunch) however speed it seems is set by the software (rom) on the board.

I will be attempting an upgrade using a different brand or possibly with the 500w (USA) moscow version controller...

When installing the controller its actually easier to attach some string or wire to the wires prior to removing. That way when you feed the wires back up you can attack that string to the wire to help feed it back up. Helped me in the past plenty.

limits the voltage of pack if u swap cells out for rc lipo packs and run 60v or 72v u can mod the controller to take the added voltage but only down side is needing to mod the software for low voltage cutoff or mod input reading circut to off set it for higher voltage pack moded bunch of controllers back in day lol still do

What did you change once you removed the sealant? A new capacitor? I think I blinked and missed something as all I saw was expose and reseal it

Do you know what wires it uses for the speed sensor? Or is it using the motor magnets ? I’m having issues finding an off-road kit for mine and I’m slower on this than my regular pedal bike.

Hi. I have an NCM Miami where the power assist seems to kick-in with every right foot downward stroke. So basically the PA is kicking in and out every half crank revolution. The power burst that happens with the 1st pedal after turning still works Ok, so I'm thinking it's a sensor issue. Can you please suggest what could be wrong?
