Pattinson seems to be collecting these "best performance of his career, " watermarks. He's a really versatile, compelling actor.

Loved the movie. To those who say this film doesn’t have a message or tell anything I just want to point out: When Bong was promoting this movie in Korea, he specifically referred to the real-life tragedies in Korea where young blue-collar workers got killed due to their employers disregarding worker safety.

“We might get Captain America 17”
Bloody great line

Ticket prices and the average person's behavior in a movie theater are a big reason why I am very selective with what I see in theaters now.

I thought it was solid and mostly worked. It did feel like it was trying to balance a bit more than it could overall handle in terms of characters and plot threads. But I still found it entertaining and I really liked how it ended. So to me that helped. I say it’s worth a viewing to anyone curious.

The only reason I know about this movie’s existence is because I enjoy Robert Pattinson as an actor, and actively keep up with his new projects.

Saw Mickey 17 at a nearby Cinemark. It is brilliant. It is a political satire wrapped in a SciFi dark comedy. I loved every frame of it.

would’ve never expected that this underperformed at the box office, what a shame. can’t wait to rewatch this one w my family, it’s the perfect blend of weird, funny, and gorgeously shot. rob did an amazing job, though i wasn’t surprised at how chameleonic his performances can be considering his roles in other films like the boy and the heron, the lighthouse and good time! also mark steven naomi and toni knocked it out of the park as well. (so glad you mentioned okja omg i literally was telling my friends after we got out of theater that it reminded me of it!)

I was actually disappointed. The premise is so good - yet the movie does so little with it. The social commentary is very bland and unfocused. The movie acts like having a lot to say without saying all that much.

Surprised by all the mixed reviews, this was great, both hilariously morbid and thought provoking at the same time

My fiancé and I were the only ones in the theatre too. 😢 Streaming services are killing the movie theatre industry.

I wanted to like this movie a lot more than I actually did unfortunately

How are people saying this film is garbage? I understand those who didn't like it, but garbage? People have just gone mad...

Don't worry, Chris. When I saw Parasite in the theatres, not only was it put in a room with 12 seats, I was the only person there too. And then it left the theatres. And then when it started getting buzz, it returned to theatres where it was selling out.

Jeremy Jahns’s Mickey 17 review was also sponsored by that pen.

---> This is the THIRD movie Bong Joon-Ho makes a movie centered around something large and round and misunderstood: The Host, Okja and Mickey 17....

I came away from Mickey 17 feeling nourished. This is the kind of experience I want when I go to the cinema and it's what I am glad to pay for. I might go watch it again even.

I saw it last Friday with a friend and we both loved it! The auditorium we were in was probably 75% full, which made me happy to see. It really is one of those movies that you have to see on the big screen.

I was left quite disappointed to be honest. Easily my least favourite of his films. But as always Robert Pattinson was amazing
