I have being doing design in my company for years, but I do love to watch something new, like all the things you post in your channel.
To see passionate people like you that have the energy and disposition to teach others is very fulfilling, I wish you the best 😃 oh and I like the idea of that soft ambient led in the background, I think it might be an inspirational instalment also in my videos ✨

I learn so much from you and Charli it's crazy! Love listening to the podcast on a fresh morning while I run. Thank you so much for sharing to the community and helping people just starting out (Me). I wish I could give you a warm hug just to thank you but it's gonna have to be virtual, you know social distancing. Have some amazing holidays and let's make next year a better one.

This video & template were so helpful! I just finished my year in review doc using all these tips. Thank you!

In the video you mentioned that you send out a monthly design report to the whole team. I love that idea, and it would be awesome to see a video on that :)

Almost first comment lol
Great video! Performance Review is something REALLY important for all areas and for Designers this is extremely important to do, since it's the best way to check our progress and realize how much we had grown, which I recommend everyone to save their Performance Review files. In my experience working at small companies they mostly don't do these, but I ran it by my own every year and see if I can provide feedback to the company/department and from there, do better.

Thanks for the great year!

Great content Femke! I always find your suggestions very on point to the day-to-day lives of designer. Can you talk a bit about how to find or start your own side project as a early career designer? I want to start something in addition to my daily job, but are having hard time pin down on an idea. Also, how do you time manage your full-time job and your side hustles?

Thank you so much for this video! I'm currently preparing my portfolio! Just curious tho, did UBER gave you a on the spot whiteboard challenge? or just a take home project?

Hi Femke! This is a great insight. I am a ux designer at a company, but we don’t have annual reviews (my company is not so advanced as Uber). I love this idea though. Besides the promotion, I think it can help you to show case your work later during interviewing for a new job, and add projects to your portfolio. Can I ask, is putting together such deck something that you came up with or do they usually do it at Uber and other companies? I mean is it industry standard?

Is this a requirement as a part of your reviews at Uber or something you've done on your own? Also, is this something you send along to people who are writing reviews for you to help them or more of a personal document? Thank you for this btw, so so helpful!
