Some do not apologize. They say they wouldn’t have to do these things to you if you didn’t do whatever made up lie they say about you. Sending all of you guys love and hope that you let yourselves heal and move on.

The Narcissist I know once said, "I'm sorry you needed to project your anxieties. I'm sorry you thought I was hurting you. I'm sorry if you perceived all of those things and all of that".

Same for appreciation. They’ll say they appreciate you when confronted but ask them for specific things they appreciate and they appear like they’ve been cornered.

Absolutely true this has been my experience with a narcissist. It says if someone has told them go apologize Because it is the thing to do. And the Narcissist thanks oh is that all I have to do is say I’m sorry and then I can get this person back onto my Control again? Perfect I can do that that’s easy they’re just words

It's best in my experience to say I apologize of just saying sorry. Then say I know my words wont fix or change what's happened but what can I do to make the situation better for both of us, if nothing can be done just offer your time in the future to hear them out if they do think of something or just need time to think things through. God has given so much to forgive and we should forgive one another because He has forgiven us.

What about when they sorry when there is nothing to be sorry for but won't say sorry for the things they have actually done.

this is SO my ex wife. for YEARS she would say sorry but never for WHAT. When I would try to dig a little deeper, she would get defensive and tell me that her saying sorry should be enough and I should forgive her and move on... even AFTER SHE CHEATED ON ME

I've always wanted to follow up a narc's word salad apology with "I don't get it." And watch to see if they decide to repeat their whole shpeal, or just walk away frustrated. When a narc actually apologizes to me I'll try to update. 😂

certifications primarily in chemical dependency and nero assocative conditioning.
Sadly, I married a Narcissistic personality disorder. 😢
I have gain understanding via your training sessions…
I am 70 years old and still recovering and learning.

Sometimes I believe they apologize because they know they did something or somethings but, I don't think they get that what they did. They don't have real remorse.

It's interesting that the only people who comment on these types of channels always appear to be victims of a narc. Surely there are narcs who are watching and commenting too, hoping to get better or do more damage.
