Food engineers are "smart".
Don't you mean, "greedy"?

Loved hearing her mention artificial food dyes as a health risk, they are banned in many counties but allowed here and in almost everything, some kids being highly sensitive to, I avoid them just knowing they are not needed in your diet

Excellent advice from Keri Glassman about good nutrition and health. It takes effort, commitment, and access to resources (such as fresh food and time) to enjoy a really good diet…. Our industrially produced food may be abundant and accessible but not necessarily healthy. The one thing it is, however, is profitable.

The key word is “can be”…a hypothetical. That’s like me saying I can be as good as Michael Jordan in basketball ..when in all likelihood I’ll never be as good as MJ. Studies like these are filled with alternative facts that are never actually true.

Did any of the questions asked get answered? There seemed to be a disconnect between what was asked and the answers/explanations given. Food deserts - the very term means that all those good choices are not available to have at home nor when going out. The information given was good, but not pertinent to questions asked.

Self destructive behavior that you can’t stop, is called an addiction. I find it best to avoid added salt, sugar and oil.

Vlad repeats the canard about "access" to fresh foods. When customers in these areas were given the opportunities to buy fresher foods, they chose not to.

Filling one’s emptiness, everything is eventually to much, and even more detrimental is the evidence of it.
