Too much focus is placed on the potential increased risk associated with delaying motherhood and not enough attention is given to the many benefits of waiting to become a parent. In this new series, we're going to explore the positives that come with postponing parenthood.

In this second video in the series, we'll practice a gentle, slow, and fluid yoga sequence designed to help you feel unrushed and aligned with the unique and perfect timing of your life.

Other videos in this series include a look at the research-backed benefits of delaying parenthood, what the Live Fertile Community has to say about waiting, and a svadhyaya-based stretch and talk to explore your own thoughts and concerns about fertility and pregnancy later in life.

*When to practice:* whenever it fits your schedule and feels most supportive to you. Ultimately, it’s your call.

*How often to practice:* I usually recommend practicing some form of yoga at least three times/ week for my one-on-one clients, more often if it feels good to do so and it works for their schedule, less often if it doesn’t. Ultimately, it’s your call.

This intro made me cry. I’m 39 and finally at a stage in my life where it feels right to start my motherhood journey. But there are a lot of messages about time pressure and it can be hard to stay centered in my own timeline. Thanks for this practice 💜

Hi Kendra, I have a question. I have PCOS but want to start trying to conceive in about 2 years. I want to prepare my body and mind to be able to conceive naturally for the next 1.5-2 years. I have been doing your PCOS yoga videos for years and I love them especially the hips and pelvis sequence. Do you recommend me doing more the fertility ones over the PCOS ones from now on?
