In my opinion, yes. The best winger to play the game. Obviously lethal in attack but also a brilliant defender and great under the high ball as well. He completed rugby really. Won everything there is to be won
Top Tier 1 try scorer, World Player of the year, Lions series winner, World Cup winner, Tri nations winner, Top 14, Heineken cup, Currie cup and Super rugby winner

Saw him play for Toulon against Ulster at Ravenhill probably the best player I’ve seen play in the flesh

Jonah Lomu and Bryan Habana are the greater wingers of Rugby Union History

I couldn’t stand him for so long because of what he did this against my Manu Samoa (as this video shows) but at the end of the day you gotta respect a classy guy like Habana.

He was more dangerous than climate change. Even raced a cheetah. Just look at his stats ... no fuss. Best of the best! Lomu, Habana & Kolbe... Each with a little different style and unique strengths!

Mark my words. Cheslin Kolbe’s going to be the guy who breaks Habana and Lomu’s record for most tries in a single World Cup.

Lomu, Habana, and Campo would be awesome choices for any team.

As great a player as he was, I find these talks about "greatest ever" to be nonsense. He is ONE OF THE very best at his position, no doubt. The single best? I don't think any player was ever so ahead of everyone else to be called as such. Someone can be called the very best in the world at their position for 1 or 2 seasons in a row. But after that, their form will dip, even just a little, and/or a challenger will rise, and it won't be as clear as to who's the single best. For exemple, look at the 9 position right now: A.Smith has been, overall, the best 9 of the previous decade. But around 2016-17, he wasn't as good, and between 2016 and 2018, he was challenged hard by Murray (who I believe was marginally better in that bracket). In 2019, It was Faf challenging him hard. And currently, it's Dupont. Smith has managed to keep a very high level, and being one of the top 9 in the game throughout the years. But is he really a better player than Dupont right now? For my money, he is not (and don't take me wrong, I'm not saying Dupont is better either, how can they compare when they don't play the same way at all).
For Habana, it's basically the same. He probably was the most consistent winger of his generation. But was he really better than, say, Shane Williams, Vincent Clerc, Rupeni Caucaunibuca or Drew Mitchell (other standout wingers of his generation)? Or, to compare with a tad older wingers, Lomu, Howlett, Robinson, Lewsey...

He is good. But here, Most tries are against lower ranked teams..

Why is he pointing up to the sky when he scores?

No ways was he the best ever. So many wingers come before him. Plus he let an untold number of tries in with bad defense / attempted intercepts. He was crazy fast at his peak, that was his standout quality. But he played in strong teams. Plus he had no sidestep, which isn’t strictly mandatory but you need to at least learn one.

An 8 minutes highlights but has never even reached 100 comments lol Check Rupeni Caucaunibuca only 3 minutes of highlights but over 400 comments ..you see the difference

Most of the Habana's tries shown in the video have come up against nations that are not very great at rugby. 🏉
