genuine tips

-do angler quests for the fishing accessories, armor, golden rod, master bait (best bait), fishing potions, and crate potions

-your fishing power is also increased in the rain, on a toilet, and during certain moon cycles

-there is a minimum size for the body of water, but it's not too large. a size too small will decrease your fishing power however

-biome crates can contain loot found in the chests of that biome (e.g. desert crates containing pyramid loot) so you can fish for those if chests aren't an option

I prefer fishing in the hot, glowing rock water in hell personally.

use truffle worms as bait, they are the best bait as they can catch the minishark
