win32 disk imager did the job on the first try, rufus wouldn't work at all to mount img. Now my anbernic that would not start up and had battey issues works perfeclty fine again ! thxx.

thanks for the walk through. I just followed for the same firmware install rg35xx H 240428. I dunno if something changed but rufus 3.21 was included in the first unzip and the one you used 7 zip for I just used a regular compressed unzip (I have 7 zip but didnt use it). I checked the 16gb file and it was a 7zip file so I would have needed it for that. Then I didnt partition the drive because roofus took care of it. For me time wise it was 3 hour download, 10 minute unzip, 10 minute unzip, 20 minute rufus firmware write. I didnt need to download anything but what anbernic supplied so that was nice.

Diskpart is useful if your sd card gets messed up.

My computer says I need to format the stock sd card before I can use it, but if i format it the computer says it will erase the data. What do I do??

Meaning that we only need to unzip the one file and write it, it'll auto write everything onto new SD?
But the roms let it remain zip?
With using google we can actually pikaboo inside the rom zip files before extracting it.
So we arrange the roms and adding our own games into it BEFORE we unzip that "one file" correct?
Then only the roms that included in the file will goes together in the writing process, . Do I understand this correctly ?
