Ginn (Stargate Universe SGU)

According to her own testimony, Ginn lived on a planet under Lucian Alliance control. They burned the crops to ensure the dependence of her people on the Alliance for food. Ginn was forcibly recruited into the Alliance, who threatened to kill her family if she didn't comply. In preparation for the eventual trip through the Stargate to the ninth chevron address, Ginn spent a year studying Ancient technology, as well as Eli Wallace's notes.

yep somewhere on the ship she's still floating around doing who knows what.
perhaps learning about the ships systems and the history of the Alterans and such.

and i'm willing to bet that the story was going to be Eli was trying to access the ships computer to find her where once they reunited, that she could help with a vast knowledge of information was all she could do in all that time and help out the crew when the time came.

also i never accepted the lore of the comics, that as a sad excuse to end the series and it didn't even make any sense within the lore anyway.
