So, my music teacher asked me to play some songs on a national celebration day at school. I went to the event's hall (where the celebration will take place) to practice the songs and warm up a bit. I started playing Rain because I was trying to learn it the day before and after a bit, I realised some people were sitting at the chairs watching me play and a girl told me that the song made her "travel out of this world" and it felt really good. Thanks for this tutorial Rob and the song. Keep it up and I'm looking forward to new tutorials of you!

Playing this song is like rain. You just supply the raindrops, the effects make the rain bond together to streams flowing into each other, creating the puddle which is this song. Something like that.

This song kinda changed me. I'm a bass player and I love it but when I played this on the guitar, I felt an immense sense of satisfaction and euphoria cuz I remember hearing this song years ago and thinking this was just impossible, back when I didn't play any instruments. You and a bunch of other musician YouTubers have inspired me to try to learn to play guitar again. I have tried multiple times and wind up giving up and selling it. The last time I tried was a couple years ago, and I was starting to pick it up but I was also going through a bad addiction to a hard drug at the time so I wound up pawning all my gear.... But I am now clean and am more determined than ever to learn to play!

Pro tip: if you have a delay that has a tap tempo with dotted quarter notes as a beat division, tap every other note. You don't need to rely on a specific tempo or BPM setting this way.
