This was my deceased father's favorite song and it is now one of my favorite songs. I'll be learning how to play it on his guitar I inherited

100 percent of my Guitar playing has been learned by watching you. Thank you for helping this drummer, learn guitar. Do you have a video of you playing "As Long As I Can See The Light" by chance?

I like the way you teach.  You break things down and do not make them complicated.  Keep up the good work.

Marty! Dan Norton here, in San Diego. My playing is coming to life learning from you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I put some new strings on my acoustic the other night and just had my first session following you on Folsom Prison Blues and then this one. It feels like breaking through a barrier or plateau that always bewildered me. You are an excellent teacher, technically and socially.

Years ago I bought a guitar from a guy that needed money. Marty.. you were the first person I started learning how to play from on here! I have music experience, piano, so picking up guitar was easy especially from you.

I'm over 40 Three months ago, I woke up one morning and decided I finally ready to learn how to play guitar. Progress is slow but I'm doing it. I study your videos, play them over and over. It's to the point where, I hear a song I like on the radio and think " huh, I wonder how Marty plays it". ❤ thank you!!!!

I am a musician mum with a 12 year old that is now educated in the ‘oldies’ and the important classics. I have you to thank because I play them songs on guitar and in the car but when they see it played by ‘Marty Swartz’ they now think it’s cool. Lol. I have followed you and you have helped me on my musical journey for a while now. I appreciate that you make learning fun and you don’t take yourself or the learning process to seriously. Thank you for what you do. Keep up the good work bro.

Dude! I haven't really had a go at the songs you've shown me coz I only learned that I need to learn them TONIGHT for a gig in August but I love how simple you make "Lyin' Eyes", "Have You Seen The Rain" and "Long Cool Tall Woman"! I've well subscribed so keep them coming, my man!!

Thanks Marty. I'm 62 now. Sure wish you was around when I was a kid playing records at half speed trying to figure out chords and leads. Then we'd buy the sheet music not realizing it was arranged for easy piano. At least we got the lyrics.
